Meet Chris, EGT Cyber Solutions SME
Our people are at the core of our business. We are featuring the amazing individuals who make EGlobalTech an exciting and supportive place to work.
Chris is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and integral part of our Cyber Solutions Practice with an extensive background in cyber operations, vulnerability, and penetration testing. He currently supports an important federal customer in Atlanta, GA, where he applies his expertise solving mission critical cybersecurity issues and managing the penetration testing team.
In addition to his work with EGT, Chris is a Captain (O3-E) in the Georgia Air National Guard with more than 20 years of service, active and reserve. He also holds the AFSC 13B (Air Battle Manager) in the Air Force. Additionally, Chris has a B.S. in Information Security and Assurance from Kennesaw State University, is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and ICAgile Certified Practitioner, and has a Security+ certification.
Chris attributes his successful career growth at EGT to the significant support of his leadership team.
He shares, “EGT has blown me away with the level of support from the management team. They do an exceptional job reaching out and having continuous interactions. Carlos Chaves and Akil Crawford have been my biggest fans and great mentors”.
Chris is emboldened to resolve challenges with the enhanced support of the team and the encouragement of family. He particularly credits his wife for pushing him to continue to challenge himself and to strive to be an exceptional leader.
Chris defines success by what he learned in the Air Force explaining success means “living by what you say and when you say something, you follow through with it”. The best advice given to Chris is “to be a problem solver rather than a complainer. Have a solution mindset and take the steps to solve the problem”.
When Chris is not focused on solving today’s most pressing federal cyber security issues at EGT, you can find him spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors hiking with his dogs, kayaking on Lake Allatoona, playing golf, or woodworking with his hands.
Thank you for all you do Chris, we are excited to continue watching you grow and being part of the solution at EGT!
