eGlobalTech Wins FedRAMP PMO Support Contract

Arlington, Va., May 01, 2012 – eGlobalTech (eGT) announced today that it has been awarded a prime contract with the General Services Administration (GSA) to continue providing comprehensive support for the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program Management (FedRAMP) Program Management Office (PMO). FedRAMP is a government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. This approach focuses on reducing redundancy across Federal Agencies by implementing a do once, use many times framework that will save cost and time required to perform redundant agency security assessments.

This contract allows eGlobalTech to continue contributing technical subject matter expertise in support of Federal-wide transformation initiatives. eGlobalTechs support will encompass a broad scope of activities, including process development, continuous monitoring framework definition, advisement on applying FISMA requirements for IT services, and consistent integration with other Federal security initiatives. The firm has been working on the program since its inception and will continue to support its launch into full operations.

According to Nick Mistry, eGlobalTech Senior Director, This contract allows eGlobalTech to continue contributing technical subject matter expertise in support of Federal-wide transformation initiatives.

Branko Primetica, eGlobalTech Vice President, adds, We are thrilled with the opportunity to continue our work in support of FedRAMP and our partnership with GSA. The potential impact of this work includes significant cost savings and an opportunity for the Government to realize more of the benefits inherent to cloud computing.
