eGlobalTech Awarded Army Cloud Computing Enterprise Transformation (ACCENT)

ARLINGTON, VA, April 6, 2017 – eGlobalTech (eGT), a leader in technology and cybersecurity solutions, was selected as an ACCENT partner. The ACCENT contract vehicle has an estimated total ceiling value of $250 million over a three-year period.

ACCENT was established to assist the Army in migrating their systems to the cloud, per the undersecretary of the Army’s directive that all systems and applications providing enterprise services convert to designated core data centers no later than the end of fiscal year 2018.

eGT’s cloud computing expertise includes working with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to define cloud computing standards and supporting the establishment of the Federal Risk Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). The firm is a market leader in the development and deployment of cloud-based solutions, as well as supporting complex cloud migrations across the federal sector.

“ACCENT is critical in supporting the Army’s mission to maintain readiness and warfighting superiority. It’s imperative to have a strong IT infrastructure supporting that mission. We are proud to be able to provide the Army that technological edge,” said Joseph Zimmerman, executive vice president of delivery at eGlobaltech.
