Arlington, VA (February 7, 2018) – eGlobalTech (eGT), a leading IT, cybersecurity, and management-consulting firm, was selected as a prime contractor to provide IT support services to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) through the Information Technology and Applications Center (ITAC). These services will range from service desk support to the development of custom software applications. The ITAC IT Support BPA has a $214 million ceiling.
“This win shows that there is recognition of the following four distinctions: our vast DevOps and Agile software development capabilities; our thought leadership and experience in cloud migration; our ability to deliver innovative and complex IT solutions on limited budgets; and lastly, our deep experience with HHS and its component agencies,” said Takisha Schulterbrandt, eGT’s Vice President of Health.
“eGT is excited to help ITAC gain more momentum in fully modernizing their current IT engineering with our DevOps Factory and Agile models, so in the future the agency can reliably push into the cloud. We are earnestly dedicated to helping NHLBI with its noble mission to enhance the health of all individuals so that they can live longer and more fulfilling lives,” said Joseph Zimmerman, eGT’s Chief Operating Officer.
