The 2018 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards honor individuals and companies that demonstrate excellence, innovation, and leadership in information security. Winners are chosen based on the strength of their nomination and popular vote by members of the Information Security Community. There were over 400 entries for all the award categories.
EGT won the Cybersecurity Excellence Award for its work on CyberCARE, an industry-recognized, security education program that supports the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Information Security under the Enterprise Security Program Support (ESPS) contract. This program brings awareness of cybersecurity best practices to over 80,000 federal employees and 40,000 contractors working in 11 unique operating divisions across the U.S.
EGT was also a finalist in the Cloud Security Category for the cloud security and risk management services it provides under the HHS ESPS contract.
