eGlobalTech Wins FedRAMP PMO Support Contract

Arlington, Va., May 01, 2012 – eGlobalTech (eGT) announced today that it has been awarded a prime contract with the General Services Administration (GSA) to continue providing comprehensive support for the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program Management (FedRAMP) Program Management Office (PMO). FedRAMP is a government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. This approach focuses on reducing redundancy across Federal Agencies by implementing a do once, use many times framework that will save cost and time required to perform redundant agency security assessments.

This contract allows eGlobalTech to continue contributing technical subject matter expertise in support of Federal-wide transformation initiatives. eGlobalTechs support will encompass a broad scope of activities, including process development, continuous monitoring framework definition, advisement on applying FISMA requirements for IT services, and consistent integration with other Federal security initiatives. The firm has been working on the program since its inception and will continue to support its launch into full operations.

Rising Star eGlobalTech Senior Enterprise Architect Honored with 2011 Award

ARLINGTON, VA – September 10, 2011 – eGlobalTech is proud to announce that one of our great team members was recognized for his contributions to federal government IT as a 2011 Rising Star award winner by Federal Computer Week (FCW) .

Senior Enterprise Architect Jay Huie was one of 25 individuals from over 125 nominees selected for this prestigious honor as one of the up and coming leaders in the federal information technology community. Mr. Huie has been with eGlobalTech for almost three years and has been making a difference in government for most of his career.

When asked for his advice by FCW for a government wannabe , he responded “Take the chance and work for all you’re worth. Our country needs passion, creativity and intelligent determination. I think leading the course of federal IT is inspiring and can create an impact on our national priorities.”

Mr. Huie was nominated for spearheading the development of the Department of Energy’s IT Strategic Roadmap and playing an instrumental role in getting input from IT leaders across the department. His also initiated a series of summits to showcase how people are using technology to accelerate their missions.

VP Primetica Honored for Contributions to Government IT

ARLINGTON, VA – February 10, 2010 – eGlobalTech, a small 8(a)-certified woman-owned IT consulting firm, announces today that Vice President, Branko Primetica has been selected as one of the Federal 100 for 2010 by Federal Computer Week (FCW).

In its 22nd year, the Federal 100, the signature awards program in the federal information technology community, honors professionals from government, industry and academia for their efforts in affecting change, progress and efficiency in determining how the federal government acquires, develops and manages Information Technology.

The winners are nominated by Federal Computer Week readers and selected by an independent government and industry panel of judges. Federal 100 winners are recognized for their risk-taking, vision and pioneering spirit that have impacted and transformed federal Information Technology.

Mr. Primetica will be profiled in the March 22 issue of FCW along with the other 2010 winners. This year’s winners include 30 from industry and 70 from the federal government — 42 in civilian agencies and 28 in the defense sector. There are 78 men and 22 women.

There will be a elegant awards dinner to honor the winners at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in downtown Washington, D.C. the night before the FOSE show commences on March 22, 2010.
