Arlington, VA (January 16, 2018) – eGlobalTech, an award-winning IT solutions, cybersecurity, and management consulting firm based in Arlington, VA, has appointed new leadership following the passing of its founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Sonya Jain.

The CEO position will be assumed by Sanjiv Jain, who has been serving as the firm’s Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).  As the CEO, he will be responsible for the firm’s overall performance.

Branko Primetica has been appointed President and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).  In this role, he will continue to oversee the firm’s strategic direction in addition to corporate growth.

Joseph Zimmerman, the firm’s Executive Vice President, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) with responsibility for client delivery and personnel development.

Each of these individuals has been with the firm for an extended period as part of the senior executive team.  Therefore, eGlobalTech’s strategic direction, corporate culture, ability to perform, and partnerships, will not change.

Sonya Jain, eGlobalTech’s Visionary Leader, Has Passed Away

Arlington, Virginia, December 21, 2017 – eGlobalTech (eGT), an IT solutions, cybersecurity, and management-consulting firm, today announced the passing of its founder, President, and CEO, Sonya Jain. Jain passed away at 54 years old on Sunday, December 17, 2017, after a long battle with cancer.

Sonya studied at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, where she was one of eight women in her class.  Since founding eGT in 2004, Jain successfully grew the company to more than 300 employees.  During that time, she was repeatedly recognized for her exemplary leadership abilities, entrepreneurial spirit, and philanthropic efforts. She was a 2017 recipient of the Women Who Mean Business Washington Business Journal award. She was also honored with a Women in Technology (WIT) Leadership Award and a SmartCEO 2016 Washington Future 50 award.

eGT Chief Strategy Officer, Branko Primetica stated, “Everyone at eGT is deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Sonya Jain. She consistently demonstrated the highest values in business and her compassion for her people was unparalleled. eGlobalTech and IBM to Support IPAWS Cloud Migration Effort at FEMA

Arlington, VA (November 9, 2017) – eGlobalTech (eGT), a leading cloud migration, cybersecurity, and management consulting firm, was selected to support IBM and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to migrate the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) to a disaster-resistant, multi-region Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform.

IPAWS provides integrated services and capabilities to federal, state, territorial, tribal, and local authorities that enable them to alert and warn their respective communities during an emergency.

eGT, an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner specializing in cloud migration, has successfully migrated other mission-critical FEMA emergency systems to the cloud using their DevOps service framework and open source cloud orchestration toolset.

eGlobalTech Awarded Contract to Provide TSA with IT Security Support Services

Arlington, VA (September 13, 2017) – eGlobalTech (eGT), a leading IT, cybersecurity, and management consulting firm, was selected to support the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Information Assurance and Cybersecurity Division (IAD) in delivering Information Technology Security Support Services (ITSSS) that protects and maintains the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of TSA’s IT systems.

IAD is seeking to achieve continued Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance as a bi-product of security risk management. eGT will be partnering with IAD to enhance its risk management program, develop security policies, and provide Information System Security Officer (ISSO) services and security control assessment (SCA) support.

eGlobalTech Wins DHS FOIA Contract

Arlington, VA – eGlobalTech (eGT), a leading information technology, cyber security, and management consulting firm, announced today that it was awarded the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Privacy Office (PRIV) Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Support Services contract.  DHS PRIV, as well as in other DHS agencies like the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), needed cost-effective FOIA support to continue decreasing the growing body of incoming FOIA requests and their FOIA backlog. eGT was selected to continue providing this support under a new four-year contract.

eGT has been providing FOIA business support services (project management, data analysis, research, request support, and process improvement) to DHS PRIV since 2015.

eGlobalTech Awarded Army Cloud Computing Enterprise Transformation (ACCENT)

ARLINGTON, VA, April 6, 2017 – eGlobalTech (eGT), a leader in technology and cybersecurity solutions, was selected as an ACCENT partner. The ACCENT contract vehicle has an estimated total ceiling value of $250 million over a three-year period.
