The 2018 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards honor individuals and companies that demonstrate excellence, innovation, and leadership in information security. Winners are chosen based on the strength of their nomination and popular vote by members of the Information Security Community. There were over 400 entries for all the award categories.

eGT won the Cybersecurity Excellence Award for its work on CyberCARE, an industry-recognized, security education program that supports the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Information Security under the Enterprise Security Program Support (ESPS) contract.  This program brings awareness of cybersecurity best practices to over 80,000 federal employees and 40,000 contractors working in 11 unique operating divisions across the U.S.

eGT was also a finalist in the Cloud Security Category for the cloud security and risk management services it provides under the HHS ESPS contract.

Washington Technology Fast 50

Washington Technology’s Fast 50 is an annual recognition of small-business contractors in the government market. Companies are judged on a five-year revenue history, which is then used to calculate a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR). Companies are ranked based on the resulting CAGR and not overall revenue. Eligibility for rankings are also based on being considered a small business by the federal government. Washington Technology is known as the authoritative source of competitive intelligence for executives providing contract services to the government market.

Virginia’s Fantastic 50

Virginia’s FANTASTIC 50 award program is a signature event of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. The FANTASTIC 50 awards recognize leading businesses across the Commonwealth in all types of industries and are the only statewide awards of this type in Virginia. Nominations for the FANTASTIC 50 are sought out from local chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, and through the sponsors’ networks. Companies were also allowed to nominate themselves.

NVTC/Washington Technology Government Contractor CTO Innovator Finalist

The NVTC/Washington Technology Government Contractor CTO Innovator Awards recognizes chief technology officers within the region’s government contracting community for their critical contributions to achieving results for their customers and their leadership within their own companies. These awards celebrate those individuals who lead the technology charge within their companies, using technology to connect the dots between customer needed and business opportunities. eGlobalTech is proud to have been a finalist in 2012.

GTRA: Best Enterprise Architecture Boardroom

The Government Technology Research Alliance (GTRA) consists of more than 100 federal leaders in a variety of technology areas of expertise. Meeting twice a year, the GTRA Council brings together executive-level government technology leaders to collaborate, strategize, and create innovative solutions for government-wide challenges. Through these council meetings, GTRA provides annual required continuing education (CEUs) in the areas of cloud computing, virtualization, security, enterprise architecture, technology, project management, health IT, green IT and leadership while helping them identify affordable effective technology solutions.

The GTRA Boardroom Award winners were determined by popular vote from attendees of the 2011 GTRA Council meeting held in Bedford Springs, Pa. eGlobalTech was voted the leading provider of security and compliance solutions that centrally control, secure, and audit cross-platform systems and applications using Active Directory.

Federal Computer Week: Rising Star Award

Federal Computer Week’s annual Rising Star awards recognizes employees under the age of 40, who have gone above and beyond their job descriptions to make an impact in their organizations. Judges specifically look for nominees who have clear potential to grow into more responsibility in their organizations and in the community at large.

The Federal 100

The Federal 100, the signature awards program in the federal information technology community, honors professionals from government, industry, and academia for their efforts in affecting change, progress, and efficiency in determining how the federal government acquires, develops, and manages information technology. Federal 100 winners are recognized for their risk-taking, vision, and pioneering spirit that have impacted and transformed federal information technology. eGlobalTech Vice President was selected as one of the Federal 100 for 2010.

BRAVA! Women Business Achievement Award

The BRAVA! awards from SmartCEO are given annually in recognition of 25 female CEOs who not only grow successful companies, but are also actively involved in giving back to the community through philanthropic acts. Washington SmartCEO magazine is a regional “growing company” publication. SmartCEO believes that a growing company is really one that is determined by the spirit, drive, and dynamics of a company’s owners and managers, rather than by the size of its building, the number of employees, or its sales volume.

Government Technology Revolutionized Through Innovative Collaboration (GTRA), awarded eGlobalTech the “Best Solution Award” for its participation in the June 2009 GTRA Symposium. The award recipient is determined by popular vote out of all collected surveys at the GTRA Symposium. Previous award recipients have included some of government and industry’s most forward-thinking thought-leaders recognized by their peers.
