Instructor Bios:

Shawn Presson: Shawn Presson has 15 years of experience in implementing and applying agile methods.  Prior to the agile manifesto he spent 11 years as a software developer, project manager, and organizational change leader for private sector companies.  He has applied pragmatic lean and agile systems development principles in organizations worldwide, in industries including aerospace, rail transportation, energy, federal government, and microprocessors. He is a certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC4), IC Agile Certified Professional (ICP), and Certified Scrum Master (CSM). 

Reha Gill: Reha Gill is an Agile Coach and Project Management executive with over 11 years of experience. Areas of expertise include enterprise agile transformation, training, coaching, and project management. Ms. Gill has trained and coached federal and commercial clients in adopting agile methods. She is a Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Agile Certified Coach from the ICC Agile Institute (ICP-ACC), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified SAFe Agilist (SA) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM). 

Agile Coaching

Our proven end-to-end agile transformation framework addresses each level of the organization.  Working with the Office of the Chief Information Officer, our practitioners support the development of tailored processes and guidelines to accommodate agile development, addressing items such:

  • Refinement of governance frameworks
  • Flexible and evolvable system architectures
  • Automation driven quality software engineering
  • Compliance with IT security requirements

In addition, our practitioners pair with each other – one technical, one more focused on organizational change – to work directly with development teams to:

  • Guide and coach teams on agile development practices, from process and technical perspectives
  • Help programmers to incrementally implement and mature agile engineering practices such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated deployment
  • Guide the rapid resolution of issues and obstacles
  • Streamline the agile process to be more outcome-driven and to improve throughput velocity
