Program Management / PMO Support
Past Performance
eGlobalTech uses Project Management Methodologies derived from the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices to effectively manage and execute programs. In fact, more than 25% of our staff possesses PMI certification. Our approach encompasses all aspects of project tasks and deliverables, from initiation to closure.
Examples of our past performance include:
U.S. Capital Police (USCP): eGlobalTech is responsible for managing scope, cost, schedule and quality of deliverables of USCP’s multi-million dollar land mobile (wireless) radio communication program. This includes the development of a detailed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for all elements of the project, earned value management to ensure adequate and timely project completion, and a complete analysis of the integration activities associated with this implementation.

We provide comprehensive program management support for these efforts, including executive consultation support, performance tracking, earned value management, and quality assurance support.

We actively track performance and report on program progress while proactively working with ED managers to update and revise IT investment and program metrics (ensuring that they are quantifiable, measurable, achievable, outcome-based, and results-oriented).

In July 1997, the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) directed the establishment of a Task Force that identified efficient business processes supporting the Defense Transportation System (DTS). As a result, the Comptroller issued the Management Reform Memorandum (MRM) #15 that called for the testing of several short-term concepts. eGlobalTech supported the prime contractor by providing project management support to develop concepts of operation (CONOPs), detailing the functional and technical requirements of the systems used by the Installation Transportation Officers (ITO) and Transportation Management Officers (TMO), implementing new business processes, performing Independent Verification &Validation (IV&V) of ITO/TMO systems changes and monitoring the migration of those changes into the new processes.
