Strategy and Business Services
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)
Data Analytics and Data Management: Supported the continuous development and maintenance of the USCIS Staffing Allocation Model (SAM) used agency-wide for resource and budget allocations. Our support included data and trend analysis as well as data management and reporting. We helped maintain transparency of performance data on the Office of Performance of Quality website; communications with congressional liaison and other stakeholders within USCIS.
Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
Enterprise Architecture: Supported the HHS Office of the Chief Information Officer and the Chief Technology Officer with creating strategies, policies, governance frameworks, and architectures to support health modernization:
- Created a strategy and architecture for the newly formed Health and Human Service Domain which includes all activity conducted via the Affordable Care Act (ACA)(ACA)
- Supported health data standards development in collaboration with the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC)
- Provided production support for the Health & Human Services Enterprise Architecture Repository (HEAR); including end-user help desk support and maintenance of HEAR's front-end and back-end components
- Led development of targeted segment architectures conducted by HHS OCIO and support Operating Division program offices model systems & investments in to HEAR.
Governance Support:Facilitated enterprise-wide IT governance for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This included preparation, facilitation, and coordination of action items for numerous HHS OCIO managed councils and workgroups such as the CTO Council, EA community, EA review board (EARB), electronic stewardship council, and the data architecture work group (DAWG).
U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)
-Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Integrated Program Management Office
PMO Development and Execution: Supported the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) as it re-imagined the role of information technology in support of the Agency’s mission. The draft OCIO Information Technology Strategic Plan (ITSP) Fiscal Years 2011-2013 outlined the specific action plan moving forward and aligned directly with USAID Forward reform efforts to modernize and strengthen USAID. eGT also helped transition the agency’s project management model to a matrixed project management model that is managed through a Project Management Office (PMO). The OCIO now has the primary responsibility to plan, acquire, develop, and maintain USAID’s Information Technology (IT) program. The PMO provides consistent and mature project management processes, leveraging industry best practices, to implement cost effective, high quality services across the entire IT portfolio, including streamlined business concept intake and evaluation, governance, performance measurement, resource management and communications.
Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
Enterprise Architecture: Supported CMS in executing, managing and fostering collaborations between operating components within CMS to promote common enterprise business architectures, beginning first with the provider experience. eGT provided advice, assistance and support to further the development of the Enterprise Business Planning and IT integration initiatives working within the broader cycle of strategic planning and execution.
Governance Support: Provided the CMS Office of Clinical Standards and Quality (OCSQ) IT Governance Support as OCSQ undertook a major transformation initiative to deploy a SOA framework to its family of five applications. In support of this task, eGT provided logistical support to OCSQ's Quality Technical Review Boards (QTRB), facilitated relevant QTRB meetings, collected action items from QTRBs & worked with relevant stakeholders to drive them to completion, and provided subject matter expertise on SOA and related topics (e.g. Shared Services) throughout process.
Provider Enrollment & Registration: Supported the development of a strategic plan that improved the provider enrollment and registration process. Our team conducted an as-is assessment to understand the current state and determine existing pain points. Once completed, eGT developed a solution and implementation plan that enabled CMS to achieve the desired future state.
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
Enterprise Architecture: Supported the design, development, implementation and management of FEMA’s EA Program. Program support activities included developing the baseline and target architectures; defining the FEMA data architecture and National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) emergency management domain; constructing and maintaining the FEMA Composite EA Model(s); and integrating FEMA EA governance across the enterprise. eGT also provided emerging technology support, Enterprise Data Management Office (EDMO) compliance support, and Service-Oriented Architecture support to the FEMA EA Program Office. The overall goal of this contract was to support the maturation of FEMA’s EA which supported FEMA’s leadership in making informed business decisions.
Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)
Enterprise Architecture: Defined a common call center management solution and infrastructure that provided common capabilities and services to all HRSA call centers. This solution helped HRSA lower operating cost by combining infrastructure, software use, hardware for telephony, and acquisition processes.
Department of Education (ED)
Enterprise Architecture: Supported the Department-wide EA Governance Program, including integration with Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) and Information Assurance. This effort included the development of an enterprise-wide Target Architecture, Segment Architectures, Transition Strategy Plan, and Integrated Governance Framework. The above-listed deliverables were also used to kick-off the Department’s CPIC “Select” phase by making EA-driven IT investment recommendations, presenting supporting analyses, and facilitating the deliberation process. ED is rated among the Top 5 EA Programs across the Federal Government by OMB.
Capital Planning and Investment Control: Provided services that included (1) conducting CPIC training sessions for all IT investment owners (2) assessing each Exhibit 300 for compliance with OMB directives and the Department’s architectural vision, and (3) supporting the development of Exhibit 300s for Enterprise-wide OCIO investments.
Service Oriented Architecture: Assisted ED in identifying 13 common enabling services for reuse across the Department. Based on priority need, support was also provided for the architectural design and deployment of these services – the first one being an Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Program/Project Management PMO: Supported the development of project plans and milestones for ED’s compliance with OMB and GAO guidelines. Performance was tracked and reported on program progress while proactively working with ED managers to update and revise IT investment and program metrics (ensuring that they are quantifiable, measurable, achievable, outcome-based, and results-oriented).
Department of Labor (DOL)
Enterprise Architecture: Developed, analyzed and provided training for the Business, Data, Technology, Security, Application, and Performance Architectures for the Department and prepared DOL’s EA submissions to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the General Accountability Office (GAO). Our methodology, which resulted in the second highest OMB assessment across the Federal Government and a Stage 3 GAO maturity rating, can be applied directly in support to all Agencies across the Federal Government, enabling Business Transformation and technology standardization. This methodology includes linkage between organizational mission, vision, goals, and objectives (strategic intent) within and across Line of Business (LoB) to value chains.
Enterprise Architecture – Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA): Developed all aspects of DOL’s OSHA Enterprise Architecture. This included development of Agency Target Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Architecture Governance Processes. eGT completed all business process modeling using the Metis Tool, all FEA mappings as well as a Governance process to drive the prioritization of the investments. eGT was also responsible for developing Enterprise Architecture Transition Strategy Plans for OSHA. The plans clearly identified and articulated the resources, timelines and approach necessary to achieve the Agency’s vision and strategic goals. This enabled the Agency to identify the target state deliverables with precision and a realistic timeframe for managed delivery.
Enterprise Architecture – Employment and Standards Administration (ESA): Provided ESA with Enterprise Architecture services as described for OSHA above.
Department of Labor (DOL)
– Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP)
Enterprise Architecture: Provided full Enterprise EA support for OFCCP, including development of all EA artifacts and integration with CPIC and the Systems Development Life Cycle Management methodology. This project included modeling OFCCP’s EA in the DOL Enterprise Architecture Management System, based on Troux Metis. Our efforts resulted in a consistent “Green” DOL eGov Scorecard rating. OFCCP can now show clear performance achievements and progress milestones for their efforts in moving forward.
Service Oriented Architecture: Provided a SOA solution that was used to design and implement a common case management solution for 5 separate DOL agencies. This SOA solution supported a comprehensive and scalable set of services that could be reused by all stakeholders in support of their respective business missions.
Capital Planning and Investment Control: Supported the DOL EA Program by assessing the quality and completion of all Exhibit 300s using a scorecard process.
Program/Project Management PMO: Developed project management processes to plan and track all IT investment activities within the agency. This included deliverable tracking and quality assurance support. Other project management activities included:

General Services Administration (GSA)
–Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative (FDCCI)
Data Analytics and Data Management: Performed data analytics by normalizing and comparing previously submitted data for trend analysis (normalizing: filtering of previously unreported/erroneously reported data to ensure consistency). eGT also produced data quality reports, modeling and simulation tools to use for decision support, and developed a Cloud based repository solution (Force.com) that included canned reports and dashboards as well as the ability for agencies to create their own. This included support for virtually any browser or platform (including iPad’s and smart phones).
– IT Infrastructrure Line of Business (ITILoB)
Enterprise Architecture: Developed government-wide common Segment Architecture solutions for the consolidation, optimization, governance and strategic oversight of the Federal IT Infrastructure. eGT facilitated the collaboration between GSA ITI LoB, OMB and all participating Agencies and Departments in defining the ITI LoB Segment Architecture Template and all related definitions, classification, best practices, and guidelines.
– Federal Acquisition Segment Architecture (FASA)
Enterprise Architecture: Assisted the GSA to develop the Enterprise Segment Architecture in support of the FASA program by applying Enterprise Architecture methodologies to enable true business transformation by identifying opportunities for IT modernization, consolidation, and reuse, implementing a Service Oriented Architecture, establishing comprehensive governance structures, including tight integration with Capital Planning and Investment Control.
Department of State
-Department of State’s Strategic Planning Office, Enterprise Architecture Division
Enterprise Architecture: Supported all aspects of the Enterprise Architecture Division (EAD) mission and identified opportunities for IRM’s continued leadership. In support of EAD, eGT served as a technology advisory service and promoted information sharing across Bureau and Departmental boundaries. The team also facilitated effective and efficient use of EA and information technology across the Department of State, acting as a center of excellence for Federal EA and IT programs. At the request of the Department, the team developed actionable architecture, requiring the team to develop light, agile, and relevant products in support of the strategic and tactical goals of the Department. The result supported and promoted the diplomatic mission of the Department, while reinforcing the importance and value of IT investments.
Business Process & Organizational Assessment: Conducted a business process re-engineering effort to assist the Department of State in streamlining their inventory processes and better utilize existing systems. This effort included an implementation of the recommended processes as well as a wall-to-wall inventory in order to obtain 99% accuracy levels.
Department of Energy – OCFO
Data Analytics and Data Management: Supported the American Recovery Reinvestment Act (ARRA) reporting for the Department of Energy’s Chief Financial Officer. Our team used Oracle Business Intelligence to collect, analyze, and report financial data for $36 billion in ARRA funding recipients. We ensured correctness of data entered by approximately 4,000 grant recipients at FederalReporting.gov using quality mechanisms that compare recipient data with that in DOE systems. In recognition of our successful performance, three eGT employees were honored with the 2010 DOE Chief Financial Officer ”“Significant Contribution Award.”
Program/Project Management PMO: Provided PMO Support to the COFO’s office in meeting their financial reporting goals as well as in implementing a share-point solution to automate their workflow processes. As part of this project we also provided FOIA support and analysis as well as Energy proposal support and analysis.
U.S. Capitol Police (USCP)
Wireless PMO: Provided provide both Program and Project Management services for USCP’s multi-million dollar Land Mobile (wireless) Radio System as part of the USCP’s effort to modernize its business processes and systems. Services included oversight and management of project scope, cost, schedule, risk, and quality of deliverables. eGT was also responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel, and communicating policies, purposes and goals of the organization to subordinates and stakeholders. The eGT team was commended by the Chief of Capitol Police and was also selected to present and brief Congressional Committees on the status and progress of the radio project.
United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM)
Program/Project Management PMO and Independent Verification & Validation: Supported the prime contractor by providing project management support to develop concepts of operation (CONOPs) in support of the Defense Transportation System (DTS) and the Management Reform Memorandum (MRM) #15 issued by the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller). Concepts detailed the functional and technical requirements of the systems used by the Installation Transportation Officers (ITO) and Transportation Management Officers (TMO). Services also included the implementation of new business processes, performing Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) of ITO/TMO system changes and monitoring the migration of those changes into the new processes.
Department of Defense (DoD)

Cloud Computing Services
General Services Administration (GSA)
Cloud Planning: Supported the Federal Cloud Computing Initiative (FCCI) in helping achieve the goal to increase the adoption of cloud computing solutions across government. This strategic consulting engagement led to numerous innovations that reduce or eliminate the barriers of the Federal use of cloud systems including FedRAMP, the Infrastructure-as-a-Service Government Wide Procurement Vehicle, Email Software-as-a-Service Procurement and support of the apps.gov initiative. These efforts provided inputs that can be used across government, from Concepts of Operations, Cloud Business Use Cases and standards. The overall objective was to create a more agile Federal enterprise – where services can be reused and provisioned on demand to meet agency business needs.
Cloud Migration: Conducted Platform-as-a-Service pilots in support of the FCCI and in conjunction with the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) establishing that multiple agencies can share a common Geospatial Platform across Public, Private and Government Community Clouds. This work helped identify and solve many of the barriers that agencies face in migrating existing on-premise applications to the cloud including Identity Credentialing and Management, how to partner with Commercial Application Enablers in a Cloud environment, and successful hardening of Commercial Public Cloud images. This initiative provided the cost benefits of transitioning to the cloud and serves as a reference implementation for future Federal migrations.
Cloud Security: Helped agencies adopt uniform standards, reduce duplication, and speed the acquisition of secure cloud services. This effort resulted in the government establishing the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). Its security controls were based on NIST standards and created by a Joint Authorization Board (JAB) composed of members from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD) and General Services Administration (GSA) with input from National Security Agency (NSA) and the CIO Council’s member agencies, including NASA, the Department of Energy (DOE), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). These efforts resulted in the publication of the "Proposed Security Assessment & Authorization of US Government Cloud Computing" in November 2010 and the launch in summer 2011 of FedRAMP. The resulting program reduced the duplicity of assessments and monitoring across government, and reduced the burden on Cloud Service Providers with it's "Authorize Once, Use Many" approach to utilizing shared services.

Cloud Planning: Developed a cloud computing strategy and associated implementation plan to support the deployment of a scalable health cloud architecture throughout the Department. This included detailing the Department's long term cloud computing vision and a tactical plan that outlined how to achieve the desired vision.
Department of Energy (DOE)
Cloud Planning:Developed and implemented the Department of Energy’s Cloud Computing Vision. eGT was responsible for reviewing and maintaining the Department's IT Infrastructure Segment and identifying opportunities to align the department's infrastructure modernization efforts with Federal initiatives such as Cloud Computing. The team was responsible for defining the strategy and direction for the OCIO's Cloud Computing activities, as well as creating a departmental governance structure to foster collaboration integrate technology efforts with the enterprise architecture program. In addition, the team conducted an alternatives analysis and through researching and identifying successful lessons within the department, identified further opportunities for the Department of Energy to develop a maturing cloud computing practice.
Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH)
Cloud Planning: Identified a software-as-a-service eHR solution for AFRH that consolidates legacy healthcare and nutrition tracking and other systems, addressing management needs.
Information Technology Solutions
U.S. Food and Drug Administration
Salesforce Implementation:Provided software development support for the Innovation Pathway 2.0 initiative underway at the Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH). The Pathway is designed to reduce the time it takes for safe, innovative new medical devices to reach the market, and to promote more collaboration between FDA device reviewers and innovator companies seeking approval for new devices. Developing extensive customizations of Salesforce, eGT designed an online interactive conference center which will enable innovator companies and FDA reviewers to engage in private collaboration, take part in embedded threaded discussions, store and share documents; and arrange meetings.
Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
HealthData Website Development: Provided the overall architecture, technical and user experience design, testing, production, and O&M services in support of HealthData.gov, which is managed by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of the Open Data Initiative. HealthData.gov was dedicated to making high-value health data more accessible to entrepreneurs, researchers, and policy makers in the hopes of better health outcomes for all. HealthData.gov provided a means for health-related data resource owners to contribute datasets and other health-related information in a coordinated manner, and liberate the data by making more and more data from HHS's vaults easily available and accessible to the public and to innovators across the country.
General Services Administration (GSA)
Salesforce Implementation: Supported the General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service (PBS) Design and Construction office in building the Recovery Act High Performance Green Building (HPGB) Database Online (RAHD Online). Also known as gBuild; RAHD is a a web-based tool for collecting and reviewing HPGB project information in a secure and consolidated manner. The system was developed leveraging Salesforce.com’s Service Cloud and the Force.com development platform. The application provides workflow capabilities to streamline communications, data entry, and easily track projects in a secure and consolidated manner.
Department of Energy (DOE)
Case Management: Assisted in examining the workflow in the budget office at Department of Energy. Data exchange and streamlining of the information was difficult causing data integrity issues. eGT developed a SharePoint workflow engine that provided ease in transaction processing, information sharing, and document processing.
IT Infrastructure Optimization and Support: Assessed the technology and infrastructure environment at the Department of Energy and developed the long term vision for this area. Identified their current state, gaps and bottlenecks to assist in the development of a long term vision to help optimize their infrastructure environment using emerging technologies and efficient processes.
Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH)
eHR Case Management: Led a healthcare system study, to identify a commercial-off-the-shelf solution comprising electronic health records, billings, and advanced monitoring and interpretation of patient status. Our requirements included:
- Identifying a solution that was compliant with industry standards such as the ANSI-approved eHR-S Functional Model (eHR-S FM), and eHR Interoperability Model (eHR/IM), the new Personal Health Record Systems Functional Model (PHR-S FM)
- Developing a feasibility study, cost-benefit analysis, business process reengineering, architecture and design
- Conducting operations, maintenance of the solution and network.
IT Infrastructure Optimization and Support: Assessed, planned, documented, executed and provided steady state support and maintenance for the enterprise network, systems and applications at multiple AFRH locations.
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
Enterprise Content and Records Management: Supported FEMA in meeting its goal of reducing and consolidating a variety of existing content management systems. eGT was also tasked with creating the target architecture for an enterprise-wide content management solution that is capable of document management, enterprise content management, and business process and workflow management. As part of this effort, eGT identified and assessed the existing document management and enterprise content management capabilities within FEMA to recommend a consolidated enterprise solution. eGT was also tasked with conducting a feasibility study, and coordinating a pilot project for the recommended document and content management system once it was approved. Our recommended solution helped FEMA recognize significant efficiencies and cost savings by eliminating redundant systems and improving information access.
DIGITAL MAIL: Client Confidential
Enterprise Content and Records Management: Worked to implement Digital Mail to provide federal employees the critical information they need when they need it, and integrating every form of communications into a searchable platform, available anywhere, anytime. The system was simple, cost-effective, and fast. Agencies no longer had to worry about sorting, redirecting, or reshipping their information – everything was collected in one central secure location, and every page was scanned and digitally processed – from handwriting to typing to text – into a readable, searchable format. This resulted in decreased costs, reduced environmental footprint, and optimization for agencies.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
Case Management
: Provided a comprehensive IV&V of the Science and Technology Directorate’s enterprise-wide portfolio management initiative, the only system within the Directorate that manages project and financial data for its $800 million investment portfolio. The objective was to test the efficacy of its technical design and compliance with organizational standards; determine if best practices and optimal configuration options were implemented; systems interfaces, data sharing, and end-user rights were established correctly.
Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA)
Case Management: Managed an integrated Software as a Service (SaaS) Case Management platform that included development and implementation of a shared electronic case management system; this system was a fully web based solution with an integrated dynamic search engine. eGT also supported FLRA’s IT Infrastructure management and upgrade. We provided comprehensive program management for these efforts, including executive consultation support, performance tracking, earned value management, and quality assurance support.
IT Infrastructure Optimization and Support: Assessed, planned, documented, executed and provided steady state support and maintenance for the enterprise network, systems and applications at FLRA. Additionally, we developed performance goals and agreements (Service Level Agreement) for IT services; provided Security Self-Assessments; and created an Information Technology Contingency Plan, a Vulnerability Assessment and Report, and IT and Business Strategy plans.
Department of Labor (DOL) – eJudication
Case Management: Provided multiple analysis, planning, management, implementation and continuous monitoring of services/deliverables for the Department of Labor’s e-Judication initiative. e-Judication is a web-based government-to-citizen website which provided information on the status of cases/appeals, and has links to relevant statutes, regulations and procedure information. eGT assisted the Federal Government with creating a design and workflow process that was derived from legacy system functionality, but provided the flexibility for managing/reporting matter status and assignments (including timeframe and timeline for delivering/providing information/decisions), while providing Program Management support to ensure that all agency deliverables were accurate and up to date as required by DOL and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).
U.S. Capitol Police (USCP)
IT Infrastructure Optimization and Support: Led and supported USCP IT equipment tracking, ensuring network operations, overseeing software programs, and managing communication equipment and services.
U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP)
Enterprise Asset and IT Service Management: Managed the support of CBP’s Maximo 5.2 and Oracle 9i environment. eGT stabilized and enhanced the performance of their environment. This included performing a business value assessment and re-engineering in-house technology processes. eGT also slated to lead the upgrade and implementation of Maximo 7.1 across this agency.
U.S. Census
Enterprise Asset and IT Service Management: Completed the implementation of Maximo 6.2, as well as designed the Maximo Enterprise Adapter solution that allowed for the data migration between legacy U.S. Census systems and applications and the new Maximo environment. This increased the efficiency, total cost of ownership (TCO) and the return on investment (ROI) for the U.S. Census.
Information Assurance and Cyber Security
Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)
ZND Pilot Project: Currently providing support for the Zero-day Network Defense (ZND) pilot project, ensuring situational awareness of the GiG through the engineering, architecture, development, testing, acquisition, and fielding of network security, sensor, and correlation products and solutions. eGT is also currently evaluating COTS malware defense and advanced persistent threat tools and applications such as FireEye and WildFire in a DISA test and evaluation lab environment. eGT is responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to perform an in-depth assessment of the lab results and lessons learned, institutionalizing best practices, designing implementation plans, and creating security policies and procedures that, upon completion, will represent an important system within the aggregate defense-in-depth architecture that will help protect the GiG against “zero-days” – threats that exploit a previously unknown vulnerability in a computer application that has no current patch in place.
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
ISSO: Currently providing over 25 ISSOs for several FEMA program offices as a prime contractor on the DHS Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) $290M IDIQ,. ISSO support includes security test and evaluation, security authorization package development, risk management, configuration management, and continuous monitoring. We also provide enterprise-wide information security support at FEMA to help ensure that all information systems were secure and optimally managed to maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of mission-critical data through FISMA implementation of OMB, NIST, DHS 4300 Series, and FEMA security policy requirements.
General Services Administration (GSA)
Certification and Accreditation: Supported GSA to facilitate and review Security Authorization (SA) Packages for the IaaS BPA, which is the first cloud specific BPA issued by the federal government. As such, it was the responsibility of eGT to use the security controls outlined by NIST standards and apply them to cloud specific environments. Through this effort a process was created and requirements were defined, by which GSA secured its federal information systems, for IaaS cloud models. eGT also worked with the IaaS BPA Awardees to provide cloud solutions to develop a method for safely processing, storing, and transmitting unclassified government information in the most cost-effective manner.
Cyber Security Policy Support:Provided an unbiased third-party evaluation of all Security Authorization documents. Security Authorization documentation such as System Security Plans (SSP) are considered “Living Documents”” as they are constantly reviewed and updated in order to keep pace with the existing infrastructure life cycle. As requirements changed, cyber security policy was also required to change. eGT played a critical role in ensuring that the Security Authorization program was sufficient, effective, and compliant. eGT services for GSA included:
- Independent Verification and Validation criteria of existing documentation (IV&V)
- Security authorization package compliance reviews
- Developed Cyber Security Policy for FedRAMP ( Cloud computing initiative for federal government )
- Facilitate and provide remediation guidance for Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms)
- Development of a Security authorization process following NIST guidelines and incorporating agency specific policies/procedures
- Security authorization templates and evaluation checklists development
- Provide security awareness training and rules of behavior for end users
Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA): Developed and maintained the documentation listed below in support of the FISMA, which required that all federal agencies develop and implement an agency-wide information security program designed to safeguard IT assets and data of the respective agency.

Authorization and Accreditation (A&A): Provided Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) support for GSA’s Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) awardees. Our team worked with each vendor to ensure that their A&A package are complete, strictly meet the Government’s security requirements, and address the unique characteristics of cloud computing Each accredited vendor’s services will be available for acquisition throughout the Federal Government.
FedRAMP: Worked closely with the General Services Administration (GSA), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) to establish the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). This Program provided a standard approach to accrediting cloud computing services and products. FedRAMP allowed for joint authorizations and continuous security monitoring services for Government and Commercial cloud computing systems intended for multi-agency use.
Administration of Aging(AoA)
IT Security Support: eGT provided the Administration of Aging (AoA) IT System Security support for AoA's business applications and public facing websites. This included development of System Security packages for submission and enabled obtainment of an Authority to Operate (ATO) for each relevant system. We also provided IT security related expertise in support of strategic IT decisions made by this operating division of HHS.
Department of Labor (DOL)
– Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP)
System Security Assesment and Accreditation and Service Assurance: In support of the Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contractor Compliance Program efforts to meet FISMA compliance requirements, eGlobalTech provides support to the Agency Information Security Officer (ISO). This support includes authorship, review and updates to all ATO required security documentation, preparation of the System Security Plan, support for System Test and Evaluation (ST&E), and updates to the CSAM system of record as required. eGlobalTech performed analysis and re-authorship of the Agency Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) including updates of all attachments, appendices, and creation of an updated Executive Briefing deck to allow efficient education and management of continuity plans in coordination with the Federal Emergency Management Center.
Department of Energy (DOE)
Supported multiple tasks that directly supported the American Recovery Reinvestment Act (ARRA) information request management, documentation, training and outreach, the President’s High Priority Performance Goals , the CFO’s Financial Transparency Initiative and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) processing, research, analysis, and evaluation services.
Freedom of Information Act (FOIA): Responsible for the receipt, containment, assessment, and control of all FOIA documents processed. eGT’s processes included controlled document and media access, intellectual property administration, and high-level recommendations to government in support of content and FOIA requests from both internal and external sources. Our FOIA team were experienced FOIA analysts and attorneys that had developed a proven, efficient, and documented program to expedite the FOIA request/response process ensuring proper information is provided on schedule.
Recovery Management: Supported the American Recovery Reinvestment Act (ARRA) providing both raw and final statistics using internal agency reporting toolsets such as Oracle BI. Data included internal and external reporting platforms that supported interconnected databases and the overall program (i.e., funding, expenditures, weekly reporting, metrics, and analyses). Output reports included OMB required reports related to Recovery as well as internally generated quarterly analyses of Recipient Reports in FederalReporting.gov addressing data quality as well as overall agency-wide performance.
Financial, Budgeting and Acquisition Support: Established and managed a project plan for a data call consolidation effort including resource loading and staff planning as part of the CFO’s Financial Transformation Initiative. eGT also developed and implemented deployment plans early in 2011. Once implemented, the iData application was the central repository for information related to CFO initiated data calls.
Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA)
Freedom of Information Act (FOIA): Captured and documented the FLRA Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and case management business processes. By analyzing these business processes, we were able to recommend a simplified workflow that will enable the implementation of an automated solution.
