eGlobalTech Wins $40 Million BPA at USAID
Arlington, VA, Oct 31, 2011 - eGlobalTech, a leading federal management and technology consulting firm, announced today that it has been awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) for wide-ranging information technology support services. eGlobalTech is one of only two BPA awardees and will be providing USAID with services such as information technology strategic planning, enterprise architecture, financial management system support, and program management support services. The contract is for one base year and four option-year periods, with a total ceiling value of $40 million. USAID is the principal U.S. agency that extends assistance to countries recovering from disaster, trying to escape poverty, and engaging in democratic reforms. USAID’s OCIO has the responsibility to plan, acquire, develop, and maintain USAID’s information and communication technology. The broad range of worldwide support delivered by the OCIO requires significant strategic planning to ensure that the information services are available to meet the evolving requirements of USAID. Ms. Sonya Jain, eGlobalTech’s President, said, “As USAID moves to a more dynamic, collaborative, and innovative model for delivering international aid, its stakeholders worldwide have an increasing demand for relevant data, information, and systems, available any time on any device. We are very excited to support USAID in addressing these evolving requirements, improving IT service delivery, and lowering overall IT costs.” |
