Past Performance
eGlobalTech’s has performed Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of programs, business process, and IT investments. These efforts include assessing the efficacy of Enterprise Architecture and Project Management programs, determining the efficiency of Defense Transportation business processes, and evaluating the performance of systems against end-user expectations and functional requirements. Our IT Investment IV&V approach is based on IEEE standard 1012 and CMMI practices and focuses on the entire system life cycle.
Examples of our past performance include:
Department of Homeland Security – Science and Technology Directorate: eGlobalTech provided a comprehensive IV&V of the Science and Technology Directorate’s enterprise-wide portfolio management initiative, the only system within the Directorate that manages project and financial data for its $800 million investment portfolio. The objective was to test the efficacy of its technical design and compliance with organizational standards; determine if best practices and optimal configuration options were implemented; systems interfaces, data sharing, and end-user rights were established correctly.
In July 1997, the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) directed the establishment of a Task Force that identified efficient business processes supporting the Defense Transportation System (DTS). As a result, the Comptroller issued the Management Reform Memorandum (MRM) #15 that called for the testing of several short-term concepts. eGlobalTech supported the prime contractor by providing project management support to develop concepts of operation (CONOPs), detailing the functional and technical requirements of the systems used by the Installation Transportation Officers (ITO) and Transportation Management Officers (TMO), implementing new business processes, performing Independent Verification &Validation (IV&V) of ITO/TMO systems changes and monitoring the migration of those changes into the new processes.
