eGlobalTech is a recognized thought leader in the field of Enterprise Architecture (EA).  We use our proven methodologies, which have been cited by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) as best practices to enable true business transformation by identifying opportunities for IT modernization, consolidation, and reuse. Our EA capabilities include the development of comprehensive governance structures that will guide the transition and improve the performance of the organization.  Furthermore, we are experienced in using automated EA tools repositories for modeling and analysis.  Examples of our past performance include:

Department of EducationDepartment of Education (ED):  We are responsible for supporting the Department-wide EA Governance Program, including integration with Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) and Information Assurance.  This effort includes the development of an enterprise-wide Target Architecture, Segment Architectures, Transition Strategy Plan, and Integrated Governance Framework. Additionally, we use the above-listed deliverables to kick-off the Department’s CPIC “Select” phase by making EA-driven IT investment recommendations, presenting supporting analyses, and facilitating the deliberation process.  ED is rated among the Top 5 EA Programs across the Federal Government by OMB.

Department of Labor Department of Labor – Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP):  eGlobalTech is providing full Enterprise EA support for OFCCP, including development of all EA artifacts and integration with CPIC and the Systems Development Life Cycle Management methodology.  This project also includes modeling OFCCP’s EA in the DOL Enterprise Architecture Management System, based on Troux Metis. Our efforts have resulted in a consistent “Green” DOL eGov Scorecard rating.  OFCCP can now show clear performance achievements and progress milestones for their efforts in moving forward.

GSAGeneral Services Administration (GSA) – IT Infrastructrure Line of Business EA Support: eGlobalTech is developing government-wide common Segment Architecture solutions for the consolidation, optimization, governance and strategic oversight of the Federal IT Infrastructure.  eGlobalTech is facilitating the collaboration between GSA ITI LoB, OMB and all participating Agencies and Departments in defining the ITI LoB Segment Architecture Template and all related definitions, classification, best practices, and guidelines.

GSAGeneral Services Administration (GSA) – Federal Acquisition Segment Architecture (FASA) : eGlobalTech is assisting the GSA to develop the Enterprise Segment Architecture in support of the FASA program by applying Enterprise Architecture methodologies to enable true business transformation by identifying opportunities for IT modernization, consolidation, and reuse, implementing a Service Oriented Architecture, establishing comprehensive governance structures, including tight integration with Capital Planning and Investment Control.

Department of Labor Department of Labor (DOL) Enterprise Architecture
eGlobalTech led the Department of Labor's (DOL’s) award-winning Enterprise Architecture (EA) program. In this capacity, eGlobalTech developed, analyzed and provided training for the Business, Data, Technology, Security, Application, and Performance Architectures for the Department and prepared DOL’s EA submissions to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the General Accountability Office (GAO). Our methodology, which resulted in the second highest OMB assessment across the Federal Government and a Stage 3 GAO maturity rating, can be applied directly in support all Agencies across the Federal Government, enabling Business Transformation and technology standardization. This methodology includes linkage between organizational mission, vision, goals, and objectives (strategic intent) within and across Line of Business (LoB) to value chains.

ESAEmployment and Standards Administration (ESA) Enterprise Architecture
eGlobalTech was engaged to develop all aspects of the ESA Enterprise Architecture development. This included development of Agency Target Enterprise Architectures, Transition Sequencing Plans, and Enterprise Architecture Governance Processes. Specifically, eGlobalTech was tasked with developing the TRM for ESA and providing EA program support and Governance Implementation. eGlobalTech updated the Metis Tool (Troux) with ESA’s technology and service components. Our tasking included the development and maintenance of the standards reference guide for the Agency and the integration of emerging technologies and trends to ensure that the technologies and standards used provided the most efficient and cost-effective environment to ESA.

OSHAOccupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Enterprise Architecture
eGlobalTech was engaged to develop all aspects of the OSHA Enterprise Architecture. This includes development of Agency Target Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Architecture Governance Processes. eGlobalTech completed all business process modeling using the Metis Tool, all FEA mappings as well as a Governance process to drive the prioritization of the investments. eGlobalTech was also responsible for developing the OSHA Enterprise Architecture Transition Strategy Plan. This Plan clearly identified and articulated the resources, timelines and approach necessary to achieve the Agency’s vision and strategic goals. This enabled the Agency to identify the target state deliverables with precision and a realistic timeframe for managed delivery.
