Industry Leadership
Innovation:
eGlobalTech has developed a strong reputation as an "Industry Leader" in the federal community through a proven track record of mission-focused innovation. Examples of the firm's innovative approach to improving Government services and increasing performance levels include:
- 2009 MeriTalk Advisory Council and Moderator: Vice President Branko Primetica served on the Advisory Council for the Federal IT on a Budget Forum - a full-day event facilitating dialogue, debate, and collaboration on how innovative technologies can stretch the Federal IT dollar. He also moderated a panel for "Building a Business Case for Cloud Computing Solutions."
- 2008 Government Technology Research Alliance (GTRA) Enterprise Architecture Conference Speakers: Ms. Jain and Mr. Primetica presented a Service-Oriented Approach to developing Segment Architectures in the Federal Government. Our approach is business driven and focused on identifying business services that are common within a segment, based upon a demand and supply framework. These common services are then used for developing information technology solutions to be implemented across the offices/organizations impacted by that segment.
- IPv6 Workgroup: eGlobalTech is leading a collaborative effort to develop the Federal IPv6 Transition Guide. This guide provides a roadmap for federal Chief Information Officers and other key decision-makers for achieving full IPv6 capability to ensure business continuity in light of an anticipated future IPv4 address depletion. Additionally, eGlobalTech developed a framework for using Enterprise Architecture and CPIC Programs to facilitate the federal IPv6 transition.
- AFFIRM Sponsorship - eGlobalTech sponsors the Association for Federal Information Resource Management (AFFIRM) which is a non-profit, volunteer, educational organization whose goal is to improve the management of information within the Federal Government. eGloablTech interests in this organization go beyond the Federal arena, to the student community, as AFFIRM has a program that provides scholarships to undergraduate students studying IT or a related field in 6 Universities.
- eGlobalTech Teaches at the USDA Grad School
eGlobalTech teaches an in-depth 3-day course on "Implementing Enterprise Architecture" as part of the USDA Graduate School's Enterprise Architecture Certification Program. The course covers all of the key components of establishing and maintaining a successful Federal Enterprise Architecture Program - including effective EA Development and Deployment, Governance, Integration with Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC), IT Security, and addressing OMB Assessment Criteria. This popular course includes Federal Agency best practices, case studies and interactive presentations.

Creating a Line of Sight in Enterprise Architecture
By Branko Primetica, eGlobalTech Vice President and Sonya Jain, eGlobalTech President
Abstract
Performance is a key driver of Enterprise Architecture efforts within organizations of varying sizes. In order to use this driver, it is important to determine quantifiable, outcome-based metrics that can be used to measure and track progress towards a “target” vision. These metrics must be aligned throughout all layers of the EA, thereby creating a “Line of Sight” from business goals to related services and enabling technology. Performance measurements must be aligned to strategic goals and mission needs, and must work seamlessly to drive technical solutions – from inputs to outputs to outcomes.
