Data Architect
Looking for an individual with strong analytical and critical thinking skills who can provide leadership in the following areas:
•Address key issues surrounding the development and implementation of an Enterprise-wide data vision and strategy
• Analysis of data entities/assets to identify redundancy and inefficiencies and to create data standards, policies, and common data models
• Participate in strategic planning, development, and preparation of deliverables in compliance with OMB and FEA requirements as defined by the FEA DRM (Data Reference Model)
• Work to establish and maintain effective working relationships with data subject matter experts within the agency
• Timely and effective communication of policies and guidance to all relevant stakeholders
• Facilitation of workgroups and governance bodies
• MEGA EA Tool experience a plus

These services require a hands-on leadership approach to providing guidance, establishing a seamless team-oriented environment, developing a strong client relationship, and ensuring timely and successful delivery of work products

This position requires an individual who possesses an IT consulting background and a wide knowledge of various technologies which include (but are not limited to) industry standards and best practices, security, networking, COTS packages; the ability to explain technical issues to business clients; strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
Other preferable skills include:
• Federal Government Enterprise Architecture (EA) experience
• Systems implementation experience
• IPv6 and SOA planning and/or implementation experience
The individual must be highly motivated and must have very strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to conduct IT-related workgroups, and to present technical findings. This role requires direct interaction with clients.

This position requires an individual who can conduct systems/solutions configuration, modeling and implementation. This individual must also be able to:
• Conduct system analysis
• Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical users
• Produce project documentation
A thorough understanding of the limitations and opportunities presented by client tools, technical analysis and emerging technologies are essential.
