eGlobalTech Wins $100 Million BPA at HHS

Single Award BPA for EA and IT Strategy Support

Arlington, VA, March 17, 2011 - eGlobalTech announced today that it has been awarded a prime contract with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to provide Enterprise Architecture (EA) and IT strategy support.  This contract is a five year single award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a total ceiling of $100 million.

eGlobalTech’s task areas will consist of supporting Department-wide transformation efforts, including Federal Health Architecture development, IT investment modernization, and emerging technologies implementation planning.  A key element of these efforts will be to support HHS with preparing for the implementation of cloud computing solutions to meet its business needs in a cost efficient manner.

This BPA can be used by all Operating and Staff Divisions within HHS, and eGlobalTech’s support is already underway at the Department’s Office of the Chief Information Officer, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

According to Branko Primetica, eGlobalTech Vice President, “This contract win represents a major opportunity for eGlobalTech to leverage its health care expertise and experience with innovative technologies to effectively support the Department’s health modernization initiatives.”

eGlobalTech’s partners on this effort include Evolvent, CBDI-Everware, and iVision.
HHS is the Federal Government’s principal agency that administers more than 300 programs covering a wide spectrum of activities via 13 Operating Divisions (OPDIVs) and Staff Divisions (STAFFDIVs). They are the Federal Government’s principal agency for protecting the health of all Americans and providing essential human services, especially for those who are least able to help themselves.
