Award Winning Enterprise Architecture
DOL Honored with Prestigious Award for Enterprise Architecture Transformation
eGlobalTech was engaged to help the Department of Labor (DOL) develop its Target Enterprise Architecture (EA) for Universal Functions and Transition Sequencing Plan. The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has rated this documentation at 3.63 maturity level - the third highest in the Federal Government.
This rating was due, in part, to the EA's demonstration of interoperability and consolidation throughout the enterprise while demonstrating an integrated governance structure involving EA, Security and Capital Planning.
As a result, eGlobalTech helped to develop an award nomination for the e-Gov Institute's prestigious Award for EA Transformation. The Department was honored with this award during the Institute's Fall EA Conference in Washington D.C.
eGlobalTech is currently in the process of developing the Department of Labor consolidated Target Enterprise Architecture and Transition Sequencing Plan, as well as working to implement an IT Standards Process at both the OCIO and agency levels.
